This was not at all what I wanted when I started the sketch. nor is it how I wanted it to be before I started colouring >.< *i wanted more details and background and others but...* anyway, I think this might as well be my first OC submission. not that I've thought about the character though. ///i'll go name it later/// my first time trying to do cloth that require some detail actually...i perfer the wrinkleless ones... CommentsGreat illustration, i love the shades of green.
-- Please take a look at my latest deviation Here, Thanks Great job! Wrinkles are kinda hard to get used to drawing. >< But practice makes perfect. (Lots and lots of practice. @_@)
Green relaxes the eyes~ haha -- ~Dai-Gurren-Lagann There's no trust, no faith, no honesty in men; all perjured, all forsworn, all naught, all dissemblers. - William Shakespeare Wow, awesome job on this! I love the green-ness and the way you colored leaves. Her face and outfit also look nice. *__*

Let see how lucky this artist is.
First off on this list of statements: this piece is very, very one color, though not in regards of shade! The only things that aren't green, are that of the hair, and the skin of the character, who strangely enough reminds me of Alice in wonderland meets Poison Ivy, meets Sister Maria from the sound of music...but I digress.
I have to compliment the dress and facial expression in this however, for the character is serene like the color she surrounds herself in, and even seems classy and fair in that her eyes aren't staring at you per say, but rather seem to look "up" at you, like a younger sibling.
On the other hand...what in god's name is on her face? It looks like a heart, but I don't know if it's an eye patch or a very detailed scar...and also, there's the plant beside her: it's leaves are too simple, they don't look real, more like smilies the wee folk made to mock the idiocy of anyone who dances into their mushroom circles.
Haa, but I still love the character's feeling of compassion, the atmosphere is very much calm and safe because of her attire and well high lighted eye. And I almost forgot to mention the golden sparkle of the pollen around the place, like fire flies on a summer night.
All and all, a good piece that holds great potential in making for a fairytale, it just needs more time to work out the detail of it's botany, and maybe give more intricate background. Fo' that I give ye a sign'en off! Now begone! Queen Mab's hahven a part'eh, and I need to bring th' wine. CHEERS!!
